In light of the recent events in Charleston, I just want to bring up the fact that some laws ought to be broken. This post is specifically targeted at white people across America, but I encourage everybody to read it. What happened at Charleston (and is continuing to happen) is absolutely unacceptable. This is not the 1950's, and I have no idea why people are acting like it. And this whole resurgence of the Nazis? Disgusting. I saw a quote earlier today, and I truly don't remember who said it, but it basically said that if you're wondering what you would've done during various Civil Rights movements, now is your time. There's a lot of truth in that, too. If you are capable, I encourage you to help. Donate to the victims, BLM, and other worthy causes. Go to anti-fascism marches in your area, protest, make it clear to those around you that hate WILL NOT be tolerated.
